Bill Rambo, Founder & President, RamboPlus Associates, LLC
When Bill Rambo founded RamboPlus, he had already amassed more than 25 years in the financial services industry—much of which was spent helping to positively impact the performance of professionals in that industry and others. He holds multiple industry designations and awards.
Bill's biggest sense of accomplishment arises from having, over his professional career, helped to build successful staffs, firms, systems, programs and most importantly, successful people.
A 1983 graduate of Lehigh University where he was an All-American Boxer and quarterback, Rambo has excelled in a variety of arenas. In addition to his successes as a business person, he has always found the time to be involved in his community in the Lehigh Valley. He is President of the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Easton. In addition, Bill has successfully spearheaded efforts to supply care packages for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is a past Director of the Board of “Support the Troops, Inc.” Bill also has served as an adjunct instructor of Career and Professional studies at two local career focused colleges.
Bill Rambo’s credits include hundreds of speaking engagements, as well as numerous TV and radio appearances. He has published numerous articles, as well as a book that deals with concepts related to real world financial planning.
His mission for RamboPlus is to help companies and individuals to climb the ladder of success.
John Zima, Vice President Consulting Services, RamboPlus Associates, LLC
As Vice President Consulting Services for RamboPlus Associates, LLC, John adds his 25 years of results driven leadership in organizational and people development to the capabilities of the firm. Over a quarter of a century in business, John has built high performing teams that have mobilized and maximized corporate resources. He has led projects that have enhanced the quality of the data, products and support provided to strategic customers. While at Dun & Bradstreet, John received the prestigious D&B Presidential Award for Excellence three times.
Zima brings numerous core competencies to his new role at RamboPlus . Three that have been critical to the success of clients and those working with him are, his ability to develop people, to analyze and organize resources and to inspire and lead others. As a developer of people and organizations John literally acts as an architect, working in conjunction with clients to design and develop plans for individual and team success. As an analyst, John uncovers the client's root issues and uses them as a critical piece of any solution. As an organizer, John provides a focused review of the resources available to generate maximum results for his clients.
Outside of his RamboPlus responsibilities, John is the owner and head coach of Kick It, an organization that is committed to developing football specialist to perform at the highest levels of competition. Kick It attendees receive individual and group coaching in kicking, punting and snapping. The program offers year round skill development, mental and physical preparation to perform weekly during the season, strength training, offseason technique training and college recruiting services.
Debbie Carbonaro, Director Marketing Services, RamboPlus Associates, LLC
As Director of Marketing Services, Debbie brings a unique skill set to RamboPlus Associates. With over 25 years’ experience in the financial industry, she has the background and business savvy to know what it takes to run a successful business. She has a natural talent for marketing as well as the ability to identify and solve problems. She consistently goes above and beyond and is eager to share her expertise with others. Enthusiasm is an understatement when describing Debbie. She is a highly-motived individual with the commitment to getting things accomplished!
In her new role with RamboPlus, Debbie will apply her experience and talents to help to design and direct marketing initiatives between the client and the creative team of the company. She will also help with the ongoing marketing efforts of RamboPlus as a firm.
Very active in the community, she has been a Boy Scout Leader for 10 years and involved in planning many fundraising events around the Lehigh Valley. Most recently, she organized an art gala fund raising benefit for childhood Alzheimer’s. She dynamically orchestrated the evening from its early conception to planning and development, to a successful event. Focus, passion and preparation are her key to getting the job done.
Karen Koch, Sr. Organizational Development Consultant, RamboPlus Associates, LLC
Karen Koch graduated from Lehigh University, dual-majoring in English and Psychology. She earned her Masters Degree from Montclair State University in Training and Organizational Development.
Karen started her career as an Account Executive with ADP in Clifton, NJ. She has worked in the field of Training and Development for 25 years. As a Trainer, she has conducted extensive national training programs for Account Executives, Customer Service Reps, and Sales Interns. As a Training Consultant, she has done needs assessments, and designed, developed, and delivered training for associates and clients. Training has included technical training, as well as interpersonal skills, management skills, and client retention skills.
Karen has conducted numerous Train-the-Trainer classes (which are the most fun and the most challenging!). She is energetic, enthusiastic, and firmly believes in a common sense approach to getting things done. Her philosophy: Treat others as they wish to be treated!
Personally, Karen has been a member of the Westfield Adult School Board of Trustees since 2007. She was PTA President at her children's elementary school from 1999-2001, a member of "Westfield Cares" from 2002-2005 to raise money for families of 9/11 victims, and was a delivery representative for Meals on Wheels from 1998 - 2008. She believes in the importance of giving back to the community.
Mary Bauer, Sr. Developmental Specialist, RamboPlus Associates, LLC
It’s next to impossible to sum up all of the skills Mary Bauer has honed over her professional life in a single title.
A 26-year veteran and senior executive of the Central Intelligence Agency, Mary has extensive experience in developing and leading people and programs. She excels in devising creative solutions to address complex problems and finding ways to improve communication across all levels of an organization. Mary’s work with other government departments and agencies honed her ability to navigate disparate cultures and agendas and bring people together to reach an agreement where all sides give a little and win something in return. She has a passion for team-building, mentoring and helping professionals to reach their greatest potential, while identifying and removing roadblocks to their progress.
Mary earned a BA in International Relations, English and French from Aquinas College and an MA in French from George Mason University. She is a trained facilitator and holds certification in Adult Education. She also has published hundreds of articles as a freelance writer.
